APEC 2009 "2009 marks Singapore’s turn as host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (or APEC), the intergovernmental grouping that seeks to facilitate economic growth, cooperation, trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region." - APEC 2009 During the event on the 14th November 2009, we at Kim Choo's are proud to represent Singapore in exhibiting our cultural cuisines and apparels (Peranakan lifestyle) to the delegates of the participating Ministers and representatives for the APEC meeting held at the Singapore Esplanade. It was a great success and we hope that our efforts in introducing the Peranakan culture will instill a greater acceptance to the global economy that in Singapore, we have a unique way of accepting and incorporating different cultures and races into our daily lives. Last but not least, we would like to congratulate Singapore for the success in holding the APEC meeting in Singapore. |
